DOS ATF VI is a synthetic automatic transmission fluid, based on synthetic base oils and formulated with special friction modifiers to obtain the following properties:
- Very high and stable viscosity index
- Very low pour point
- Excellent stability against oxidation
- Specific friction properties and consequently low noise and smooth switching
- Compatible with synthetic seals
- Quick oil provision at cold start conditions
- Very strong protection against wear, corrosion and foaming
Applications :
ATF VI is designed for use in wide range of automatic transmissions requiring a high performance, multi-purpose, automatic transmission fluid. It is recommended for applications that call for the former DEXRON VI. Always check your owner’s manual to determine the proper automatic transmission fluid for your transmission. Do not use in high pressure systems in the vicinity of flames, sparks and hot surfaces. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Keep container closed. Do not use in breathing air apparatus or medical equipment.
